Walk 3: Horsehay

This section of the heritage trail from sites 14- 22 offers a varied walk through ‘country’ lanes and old ‘villages, notably the historic village of Horsehay, home of Horsehay Works, built by the world famous Coalbrookdale Company and home of William Ball, the notable Shropshire Giant .

It takes about one and a half hours to walk this part of the trail, but we have suggested a return route if you wish to walk this section only. At a steady pace, this is likely to add another 45 minutes to your walk time.
